| Tuesday 27th October 2009 Kefalotyri Kefalotyri is a cheese made from sheep and/or goat milk and is traditionally made in Greece and Cyprus. It has a hard texture and is hence, ideal for grating. The taste is quite salty and the cheese is often simply fried and eaten by itself, although it's also frequently added to other dishes. Speciality stores are the best place to find Kefalotyri and many varieties are organic. |
